Get to know me

I first held my own camera when I was 8 years old. I loved it. Over the years I’ve upgraded that little pink digital camera time after time and now shoot with a Canon 6d mark ii.
It’s no secret that I love photographing people. There's nothing quite as fulfilling as showing someone a view of themseves that they've never seen. I love to work with people through insecurities, fears, strengths, and creative ideas.

My people are my priority. Though, I love and thrive in adventure, my favorite way to end the day is with a hot cup of tea and conversation with my love.
I'm definitely an early riser, spending most mornings writing long before the first morning light rises.
I crave nature. I love to spend an afternoon at the river or out on a slackline at the park. Growing up in Colorado, I do have an insatiable desire to adventure: to rock climb, skydive, mountain bike, summit mountains, and cold plunge every opportunity I get.
Ultimately, my dream is to serve as a midwife locally, photograph beautiful people from time to time, and have a little family of my own.

As I delve deeper into midwifery, it only seems aligned to move more into birth photography as well. It's raw. It’s empowering. And it's incredibly beautiful.

Photography, for me, is about giving humans tangible evidence of their beauty, strength, and authenticity. It's the art of empowerment.
